Mobile Dog Bather Misfit Pooch Mobile Spaw Youngwood, PA 15697 Job Overview Pay is 16/hour with tips. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mobile Dog Bather to join our team. As a Mobile Dog Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of pets while providing exceptional care. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for bathing, grooming, and maintaining the overall hygiene of pets, contributing to their well-being and happiness. Duties Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and breed standards. Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during bathing and grooming sessions. Use appropriate grooming tools and techniques to achieve desired results. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs and any observations about their health or behavior. Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area and ensure all equipment is sanitized after use. Assist with drying, brushing, and styling pets as needed. Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during grooming sessions. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. Requirements Minimum of 4 years current experience as a Dog Bather
REQUIRED.
Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques is beneficial. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to work well in a solo-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Physical stamina to handle pets of various sizes and weights during grooming sessions. A background as a veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, or in dog bathing in a salon is a plus. Passion for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
