Horse Groom Private Horse Facility Bluffton, SC 29910 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Horse Groom to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and be comfortable working in a farm environment. This role is essential for maintaining the health and well-being of our horses, ensuring they are clean, well-fed, and properly cared for. If you have a love for animals and enjoy working outdoors, this position may be perfect for you. Duties Groom horses daily, including brushing, bathing, and hoof care Feed and provide fresh water to horses according to established schedules Maintain cleanliness of stables and surrounding areas Monitor the health and behavior of horses, reporting any concerns Assist with the saddling and unsaddling of horses before and after rides Utilize hand tools for maintenance and care of facilities Perform heavy lifting tasks related to feed, bedding, and equipment Participate in training sessions for proper animal care techniques Experience Previous experience in animal care or working on a farm is preferred Minimum 1 year of experience caring for horses Basic math skills for measuring feed quantities are beneficial Willingness to learn and work well with others Join us in providing exceptional care to our horses while enjoying the rewarding experience of working in an agricultural setting.
