This role is pivotal in managing intake appointments, coordinating with customers, and ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and our grooming team. The Grooming Concierge does not perform grooming services but plays a crucial role in customer experience of the grooming process. You would be joining a team with an established and growing clientele! Part of our management resides in South Carolina and we’re looking to expand our Concierge team there as well!

Requirements/Responsibilities:

Appointment Management:

Schedule and coordinate grooming appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of grooming resources and meeting customer preferences. Ability to multitask is necessary. Ensure that all client profiles are up to date.

Customer Interaction:

Serve as the primary point of contact for grooming inquiries, providing exceptional customer service, answering questions, re-booking, and addressing concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

Intake Process:

Collect and record detailed information from customers regarding their pets, including vaccinations, grooming expectations, special instructions, and health considerations. Ensure that release forms are correctly filled out by customers and recorded and submitted properly.

Outstanding Communication Skills:

Maintain regular communication with pet owners to confirm appointments, provide updates on grooming progress, and address any additional needs or concerns.

Groomer Coordination:

Work closely with the grooming team to manage schedules, relay customer instructions, and ensure a smooth transition of pets in and out of the grooming area.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and organized records of customer information, grooming preferences, release forms, and pet details to facilitate efficient service delivery. Proficient in

Experience :

Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, in a pet care or grooming environment. Dog Grooming Scheduling Experience/ Customer Service. Must know be a faster learner Will have to become familiar with Los Angeles County area for routing purposes. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with pet owners and grooming staff. Customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering a positive and seamless experience for clients. Proficient in computer systems and software for appointment scheduling and record keeping. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledgeable of all dogs breeds, temperaments as well. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional work offsite Participate in Ride-alongs to build and strengthen client and groomers relationships. Desire to grow in pet-related Pet grooming and/or Business Management professions.
