The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service to our furry clients. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of animals in our facility, ensuring they are comfortable, safe, and healthy. This role requires excellent animal handling skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising pets. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment for all animals. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management. Assist in administering medications as directed. Handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments with confidence and care. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and well-being. Support grooming activities as needed, ensuring pets are clean and well-groomed. Experience Previous experience in animal care or pet handling is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn. Familiarity with kennel operations or veterinary environments is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with pet owners. Experience in dog training or grooming is advantageous but not mandatory. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential for success in this role.
