We are looking to add Professional Groomers to our team at Inthe Doghouse!
CORE RESPONSIBILITES
(can include but are not limitedto): Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’instructions or standard grooming styles. Trimming pets’ nails,brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears. Accommodatingspecial requests that pet owners may have. Ensuring that all petsare safe during the grooming process. Routinely cleaning workareas. Recommending suitable products to pet owners. Answering anyquestions clients may have with a friendly attitude. Keep thereceptionist informed about pets that are ready for pick-up.

REQUIREMENTS
Expertise & Experience:
Professional groomingexperience is required Displays a professional manner at all times.
The ability to work under pressure while still following properprocedure. Time management skills, patience, and a positiveattitude Ability to operate a phone, computer and learn facilitysoftware. Excellent written and oral communication skillsFamiliarity with animal behavior, body posture and hair textures.
Must be a pet fanatic – pets are part of our family!
Physical:
Bathing requires sitting, standing, walking, and lifting more than50 lbs. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure todisinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal hair/fecal matter,hot/cold temperatures and getting wet.

Creative Grooming and Asian Fusion PAY:
YOU can CHOOSEStart at an hourly wage for 60 days before changing to thecommission terms listed below OR Hire on at 50% commission (or 40%commission if you are working with a bather thus allowing you togroom more dogs) 30% on basic baths if applicable $1K Sign On Bonuspaid after 90 days of continuous employment
