Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and have an understanding of animal behaviour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and common areas
• Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the staff
• Administer medications. Handle dogs with various temperaments and behaviors in a safe and compassionate manner
• Assist with bathing, and grooming. Experience in bathing and nail trims a must!
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting or animal care environment is preferred
• Knowledge of animal behavior, handling, and basic animal health is necessary.
• Experience working in a kennel or similar facility is a plus
