Dog Daycare Attendant Pleasant View Pet Spa 6022 Henry Gower Rd, Pleasant View, TN 37146 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs in our daycare facility. Your love for animals and commitment to their well-being will play a crucial part in ensuring that each dog receives the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away. Duties Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being. Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including cleaning up after the dogs. Administer basic pet care services, such as feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed. Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their dogs’ activities and well-being. Assist with training sessions or behavioral exercises as required. Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or managing larger breeds of dogs. Skills Experience in pet care or knowledge Background as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician is beneficial. Strong animal handling skills, particularly with various dog breeds and temperaments. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Comprehensive understanding of pet care practices and animal behavior. Familiarity with dog training techniques is advantageous. Experience in pet sitting or providing animal care services is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for supplies or larger dogs.
