The primary duties of the bather are to properly prepare, bathe and finish pets (includes nail trimming, anal gland expression, de-matting, hand drying pets). Additionally, the bather is responsible for helping maintain the cleanliness of the grooming, drying, self wash and bathing areas, keeping laundry cleaned and stocked and shampoos properly filled. This position will also assist with reception duties including answering phones, greeting customers and pets, and making appointments as needed. Other duties may be included as needed (deep cleaning, etc). We are actively looking for an individual who can work 8-10 hours/day, 4 to 5 days/week. Applicant must be professional, friendly, dependable and outgoing. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Must be a team player and inhibit excellent time management skills! Drama and excessive absentism will not be tolerated . Job requires that you be dependable and on time! Dress is casual and neat – no short shorts or holey jeans, close toed shoes required.
