Dog Groomer Paw-Paw’s Grooming Salon 982 Curtis Chapel Rd, Mc Ewen, TN 37101 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of pets while providing exceptional grooming services. This position requires a love for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments. If you have a passion for animal care and grooming, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and other pets. Assess the condition of each pet’s coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment by following hygiene protocols. Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming. Handle pets safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety. Maintain grooming tools and equipment in good working condition. Skills 2+ years dog grooming experience required. Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage various breeds and sizes. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safe handling during grooming sessions. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment. Previous experience in animal care or pet sitting is advantageous.
