Part-Time Pet Sitter-Join Our Team of Animal Lovers! Blue Sky Pet Services Knoxville, TN Part-Time Pet Sitter – Join Our Team of Animal Lovers! Blue Sky Pet Services is looking for a dependable and compassionate Pet Sitter to help care for pets while their owners are away. Whether you’re an empty nester, a mom with free time during the day, or simply a dedicated animal lover, this flexible, part-time role could be the perfect fit for you!

Job Type:

Part-time (5-20 hours per week)

Hours:

Flexible schedule based on your availability and client needs. The number of hours each week may vary, and we’re especially looking for someone who is available for evenings, weekends, and holidays .

Location:

West and Northwest Knox County (Karns, Ball Camp, West Hills, Rocky Hill, Cedar Bluff, Hardin Valley, and Northshore)

About Us:

At Blue Sky Pet Services, we treat every pet like family and provide professional, worry-free care while their humans are away. From feeding and playtime to snuggles and medication, we make sure our furry (and feathered!) clients are happy and well cared for.

What You’ll Do:

Provide in-home care for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Follow detailed care instructions for feeding, watering, medication, and exercise. Spend quality time with pets—play, snuggle, and ensure they’re comfortable and happy. Keep litter boxes and pet areas clean and tidy. Communicate with pet owners, providing updates and photos after each visit. Be attentive to any signs of illness or discomfort and report concerns promptly.

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine love for animals and a patient, caring attitude. Experience caring for pets is a plus, but not required—willingness to learn is key! Comfort with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients’ homes. Strong communication and time management skills. Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays , as those are our busiest times.
