Dog Bather Bark & Shine Dog Grooming Loudon, TN 37774 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Bathe and dry pets using appropriate techniques and equipment. Brush and comb fur to remove tangles and mats, ensuring a neat appearance. Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools to ensure a safe environment. Handle pets gently and effectively, utilizing animal restraint techniques as necessary. Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ needs and any observations regarding their health or behavior. Assist in the overall care of animals in the facility, including feeding, walking, and monitoring their behavior. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in pet grooming or animal care is preferred but not required. Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential.
