Kennel Tech/Bather Position Available In Maury, Tennessee

Kennel Tech/Bather Paws on the Duck, LLC 200 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401 Our well established, busy, fun pet resort is looking to hire additional staff to join our team. We are currently seeking bright, energetic, individuals who work hard, pay close attention to detail and love pets. General kennel experience is not required but does help.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintenance of pet suites, cat condos, general lodging areas, and kitchen Maintaining potty yards are kept clean and disinfected once a week Feeding and watering pet guests Giving medications to pet guests when needed Monitoring and charting every pet guest Monitoring pet belongings Laundering duties Treating guests, co-workers and customers in a professional, courteous manner Assisting other staff and performing other duties as needed Be able to assist with bathing when needed

Requirements:

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage time well Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds+ Must have excellent interpersonal skills Must have strong communication skills Must possess a love of animals and have patience when handling pets for check-in/check-out as well as moving them about the facility Must have reliable transportation Must have good personal hygeine Must be 18 yrs or older Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing
