Pet Sitter/Dog Walker Enchanted Paws Pet Sitting Memphis, TN 38104 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Sitter to provide exceptional care for pets in the owner’s absence. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and strong communication skills to keep pet owners informed about their beloved companions. Duties Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed. Ensure a safe and clean environment for pets by maintaining hygiene standards. Engage with pets through playtime and exercise to promote their physical and mental well-being. Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to pet owners promptly. Maintain accurate records of pet care routines and communicate regularly with pet owners regarding their pets’ status. Provide basic grooming services when necessary to keep pets clean and comfortable. Handle various types of animals, including dogs, cats, and potentially other small animals or equines. Requirements Previous experience in pet care or related fields such as veterinary assistance or animal handling is preferred. Knowledge of basic pet grooming techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners. Ability to manage multiple pets simultaneously while ensuring each receives individual attention. Familiarity with various animal behaviors and needs is essential for this role. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed by clients. Certification or training in veterinary assistance or as a veterinary technician is advantageous but not required.
