As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring that pets look their best while also prioritizing their comfort and safety. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling of various breeds. Assess the health and condition of pets before grooming, identifying any potential issues that may require veterinary attention. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working order. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ grooming needs, preferences, and any observed health concerns. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process. Assist with other animal care tasks as needed, including pet sitting or kennel duties. Experience Previous experience as a Pet Groomer is required. Familiarity with various breeds and grooming techniques is advantageous. Strong customer service skills are essential for building relationships with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals or equipment.
