The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity for animals, particularly dogs, and possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional care and handling. As a Dog Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our canine companions while delivering outstanding customer service to pet owners. Duties Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, grooming, and exercise. Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel or facility. Engage with dogs through play and socialization to promote positive behavior. Assist in training sessions as needed, utilizing effective animal restraint techniques. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog’s needs and progress. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to protect both animals and staff. Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in one or more of the following areas: Pet care or animal care experience, particularly with dogs. Previous roles in pet sitting or kennel environments. Proficiency in dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods. Customer service experience that demonstrates strong communication skills. Knowledge of pet grooming practices is beneficial but not required.
