Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the AuburnUniversity Department of Human Resources, is an in-house supportcenter established to meet the temporary employment needs of theuniversity. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporaryemployees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffingneeds throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for avariety of reasons with the most common being: Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent fora specified period of time Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peakworkloads Assistance with special projects Seasonal work Emergencies If you are looking for an employment opportunity, TES is a greatway to showcase your professional skills and assist AuburnUniversity while gaining valuable work experience within highereducation. Job duties include but are not limited to: Jog and lunge horses for lameness exams Provide restraint as needed for exams and procedures Hourly checks on inpatients Cleaning and restocking of supplies The individual may be asked to assist other areas of the equinesection.
