Certifications Trainers must hold at least one of the following certifications to demonstrate their expertise in ethical training practices: Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) or Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge and Skills Assessed (CPDT-KSA) from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) from the Karen Pryor Academy.
