Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Conduct dog training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques
- Assess and evaluate dogs’ behavior and temperament to develop individualized training plans
- Teach basic obedience commands, such as sit, stay, and come, as well as more advanced commands
- Address and correct behavioral issues, such as aggression, separation anxiety, and excessive barking
- Provide guidance and support to dog owners on training techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dog training or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of animal behavior and learning theory
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dog owners
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for animals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
