As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing basic care to dogs in a kennel environment, this includes being on your feet for up to 10 hours, doing laundry, dishes, baths, feeding/medicating, cleaning, and must have an ability to anticipate a dog’s needs and identify potential problems and communicate with management. We are also looking for someone who is motivated to learn about and participate in dog training. n No experience is needed here.

Responsibilities:

 Providing all dogs with food and water  Cleaning and drying all feeding/ watering bowls  Ensuring that all kennels are clean and free of animal waste  Administering any needed medications to dogs in boarding facility  Keeping kennel yard clean and organized daily  Walking dogs daily and taking them out multiple times a day for bathroom breaks  Assisting with training of dogs  Bathing and washing of dogs

Qualifications:

 Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment  Must be punctual, reliable and possess a strong work ethic  Must take direction well  Must be organized  Must have personal transportation  Must be successful in working independently  Must have a clean criminal record

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience preferred.
