Professional Dog Trainer Manchester Dog Park & Social Club 209 Broad Street, Manchester, GA 31816 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and training, with the ability to develop effective training programs tailored to individual dogs and their owners. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine love for animals. The Dog Trainer will work closely with clients to ensure their pets are well-trained, obedient, and happy. Duties Develop and implement customized training programs for dogs of various breeds and temperaments. Conduct one-on-one training sessions with dogs and their owners, focusing on obedience, behavior modification, and socialization. Assess each dog’s behavior and needs to tailor training techniques accordingly. Provide guidance to pet owners on proper handling, care, and training methods. Maintain a safe and positive training environment for both dogs and clients. Keep detailed records of each dog’s progress and communicate updates to pet owners. Stay current on the latest dog training techniques and methodologies through continuous education. Experience Previous experience in pet care or related fields such as pet sitting, veterinary assistance, or animal handling is preferred. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and safety protocols is essential. Experience in working with various breeds of dogs is an advantage. Certified/licensed in training preferred (but not required) We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also enthusiastic about helping dogs become well-behaved companions.
