7pm to 7am

Hourly Are you a night owl with a passion for pups? Do you thrive in a calm, late-night environment while ensuring the safety and comfort of furry guests? Downtown Paw is looking for a dedicated Overnight Dog Attendant to provide top-notch care for our canine clients while their humans sleep soundly.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and care for dogs in an kennel free overnight boarding, ensuring their safety and well-being. Conduct regular wellness checks and maintain a clean, comfortable environment. Assist with late-night potty breaks and basic feeding schedules as needed. Provide gentle companionship to dogs who may be anxious or restless. Maintain accurate records of overnight activities and any behavioral observations. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following facility protocols. Perform light cleaning duties to keep the space fresh and sanitary.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with dogs (kennel, daycare, veterinary, or rescue experience preferred). Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Ability to stay alert and attentive throughout the overnight shift while dogs are awake. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
