We believe in compassionate, force-free, relationship-based dog training, and are looking for an experienced and motivated Dog Trainer to help grow our training team and help shape the future of pet care in Boston. The Role As a member of our Dog Training Team , you’ll work directly with dogs and clients, mentor other trainers, refine training protocols, and ensure consistency and excellence across all services. This is a hands-on role with both fieldwork and strategic responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct:

1-on-1 in-home training , behavior modification , and socialization Work with a wide variety of cases ranging from puppy obedience through reactivity, and aggression rehabilitation Off-leash recall and hiking skills Collaborate with leadership to expand training offerings Provide occasional dog walking and group outings as needed. Extra revenues opportunities include board and train/pet sit and train service Optional weekend services

Qualifications Required:

Valid MA Driver’s License and clean driving record 3+ years of professional experience in positive reinforcement training Leadership experience in a training or pet care environment Reliable transportation Excellent communication, scheduling, and client service skills Comfortable managing field staff and working independently Physically capable of walking/standing for 5-6 hours per day Committed to a force-free, science-based approach

Preferred Certifications:

Must hold one of the following certifications

CPDT-KA / CPDT-KSA IAABC

(ADT, ACDBC, CDBC)

KPA-CTP, CTT-A, CBDC-A
