• Shift Schedule:

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursday:

  7:00 AM – 12:30 PM

• Additional hours are available for shift coverage and other business needs.
• Saturdays, Sundays, and all major holidays off.

• Job Summary:

• This hands-on role involves providing direct care to dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being during their time with us.

This is a physically active position requiring constant engagement with dogs throughout your shift.

Reports To:

Business Owner, Business Manager and Daycare Supervisor.

• Requirements:

• Professional experience (employment or volunteer) working with dogs of all sizes and ages, including familiarity with dog behavior in group settings. We have little doxies, fluffy doodles, big great danes and everything in between!
• Comfortable and professional interaction with clients.
• Knowledge of positive reinforcement training techniques. We do not use air cans, shake cans, or aversives in our play groups.
• Active engagement with dogs in the daycare yards.
• Ability to navigate stairs and uneven surfaces in outdoor play yards. This is a physically demanding job.
• Proficiency in cleaning and maintaining dog play areas and the facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waste removal, dishwashing, and laundry.
• Independent decision-making skills and initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Willingness to work outdoors and indoors, regardless of weather conditions.
• Comfort driving in New England weather.
• This hands-on role involves providing direct care to dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being during their time with us. This is a physically active position requiring constant engagement with dogs throughout your shift.
• Employees will be required to stand and walk for the entire duration of their shift for the safety of the dogs and employees.
• Comfort interacting with clients during check-in/check-out.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and restrain dogs weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Punctuality and dependability are essential.
• Reliable transportation is required.
