JOB DEFINITION
To provide classroom instruction through lecture, demonstration, laboratory exercises, handouts, responding to questions, and testing to guide students through the CFCC paws4people® Fundamentals of Assistance Dog Training (FADT) training program.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives direct supervision and/or technical direction from Workforce Development Director Coordinator and Workforce Training CoordinatorMay occasionally receive general supervision from full-time instructional staffExercises no supervision
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS STATEMENT
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Provide interactive instruction to studentsPrepare lesson plans and schedule hands-on lab activitiesDevelop and prepare supplement materials to enhance lessonsDevelop and prepare tests to evaluate student performance; grade and record individual scoresProvide demonstrations; develop assignments to provide quality hands-on experienceMaintain accurate records of student attendance and performanceMaintain and submit all required paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely fashion, including but not limited to: class rosters, registration forms, pay sheets, attendance forms and grade rostersOversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to required teaching area and in accordance with CFCC policies and guidelines
Other Important Functions:
Assess the relevancy and impact of various lessons and recommend improvements as neededPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
