Kennel Attendant Paws-Abilities Dog Resort and Spa Rolesville, NC 27571 Kennel Attendant – Paws-Abilities Dog Resort & Spa Where Dogs Are Pampered, and Purpose Leads the Pack Do you have a heart for animals and a passion for providing top-tier care? Paws-Abilities Dog Resort & Spa is looking for a compassionate, hardworking Kennel Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll help care for our daycare and overnight guests, ensuring every pup enjoys a clean, safe, and enriching stay. As a Kennel Assistant, you’ll be responsible for feeding, medicating, bathing, monitoring playgroups, and cleaning our resort facilities. You’ll play a critical role in the comfort and well-being of every dog in our care—while supporting a team that values inclusion, purpose, and love for all dogs and their humans.

What You’ll Do:

Clean and organize kennels, play yards, and bathing stations Supervise dog playgroups and monitor for safety Bathe dogs and provide basic care Feed pets and administer medications (as directed) Maintain cleanliness of the entire facility, including daily scrubbing and sanitation Assist in managing pet comfort, emotional needs, and special requests Greet clients and help make pets and their humans feel at ease Communicate clearly with team members and follow all care instructions and safety protocols Help maintain accurate records, including feeding, medication, and behavior logs

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine love of dogs—and a calm, confident presence around them Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments A team player who communicates clearly and respectfully Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Previous experience in animal care is a plus, but not required Must be dependable and have reliable transportation Must be available to work weekends and holidays (rotating schedule)
