Pet Handler Wakefield Pets LLC Wake Forest, NC ## Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, long term Dog Walker to join our pack in a morning/midday and evening/weekend coverage role . The ideal candidate will reside in the 27614 or 27587 zip codes due to the , have a passion for animals, be able to handle reactive or stubborn dogs especially XL breeds like St Bernard or Great Pyrenees, enjoy spending time outdoors, in all everything mother nature can provide, while providing excellent care for our furry friends and have a keen sense for customer service. Candidate will also share in the vision that is Wakefield Pets and its long term growth. ## Responsibilities Walk multiple dogs of various breeds and sizes according to the schedule. Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs during walks. Provide exercise, playtime, and socialization for the dogs as well provide basic training services. Adhere to any specific instructions or routines provided by pet owners. Maintain a clean and safe environment during and after walks. Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities and any notable observations. Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients. Be punctual , dependable , and respectful of clients’ properties. Have reliable transportation ## Skills
- Experience in animal care or handling as a professional required
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Knowledge of basic pet first aid is a plus
- Comfortable with heavy lifting if necessary
