In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to animals in our facility, ensuring their well-being while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding and watering, and exercising dogs and other pets. Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks. Assist with the handling and restraint of animals during exercise sessions. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the owners. Interact with pet owners, providing exceptional customer service and answering any questions they may have. Support dog training sessions as needed, applying positive reinforcement techniques. Assist with administrative tasks related to animal care and kennel operations. Skills Proficiency in dog handling and animal restraint techniques. Experience in dog training or familiarity with training methods is a plus. Knowledge of animal behavior and basic veterinary care is beneficial. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling large breeds or equipment.
