We are seeking skilled and compassionate Dog Trainers to join our MindfulPups team in Brooklyn, NY . If you have a strong understanding of dog body language, dog psychology, and hands-on experience working with dogs, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

Provide training and support to pups in a full day group environment Develop and implement training plans tailored to individual dogs needs Work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments Apply humane and mindful training techniques matched to the needs of individual pups in your care Educate dog owners on proper training methods and dog care Observe and assess dogs behavior and progress Maintain a professional, patient, and supportive approach with both dogs and their owners

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience working with dogs in a training environment Solid understanding of dog body language and behavior signals Knowledge of dog psychology and the ability to apply it effectively Strong communication skills and the ability to educate and interact with dog owners Patience, empathy, and a passion for animal welfare Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Certification in dog training (preferred but not required) Must be physically capable of handling active and large dogs, standing and walking for long periods of time Must be seeking long term work, we are prioritizing candidates willing to commit to a year or more with the company.
