Dog Handler Tails Of Manhattan 1014 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10022 Looking for a compassionate, dilligent, and reliable individual to join the ToM Team. Our dog handlers (Canine Companions) are responsible for supervising the playrooms and providing our pups the care and attention they deserve. Duties

• Monitor the playrooms closely to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the playrooms and equipment
• Assist with meals and administer medications as necessary
• Maintain communication with upper management and fellow staff; report any concerns or changes in dog behavior or health
• Basic behavioral correction and training
• Conduct relief walks as needed
• Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service Requirements
• Previous experience in doggy daycare/dog care or related fields such as veterinary technician, kennel work, or dog training
• Ability to handle dogs with care and compassion
• Proficiency in dog handling techniques and dog body language/behavior
• Team Player
• Knowledge of veterinary practices is a plus
