Board and Train in Owner’s Home Are you passionate about dogs and eager to learn the art of dog training? We are seeking a dedicated Dog Trainer/Apprentice to join our board and train facility. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with a variety of breeds and training techniques.

Schedule:

4 to 5 days a week, 5 to 7 hours a day

Pay:

$20 per hour

• Responsibilities:

• Conduct poop scooping and general cleaning of kennels
• Train dogs using positive reinforcement and E-collar techniques
• Supervise daycare dogs and ensure their safety and well-being
• Feed dogs and manage dinner times
• Organize and supervise play sessions
• Conduct 2 to 3 training sessions for each dog daily
• Collaborate with the head trainer/owner to document training progress through video recordings of sessions

Qualifications:

• A love for dogs and a desire to learn about dog training
• Ability to work well with animals and handle various breeds
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in dog handling or training is a plus, but not required
