Pet Sitter/Dog Walker/ Kennel Paws & Claws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Services LLC Suffolk County, NY Hi my name is Stefanie, you may recognize me as I am on the SCC cover for the Veterinary program. I’m an Licensed Veterinary Technician as well as CEO of Paws & Claws Pet Sitting LLC. We are looking for members to join or very fast and thriving pet sitting and dog walking team. Our team must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a passion to help animals. Job entails sometimes long hours with strict scheduled appointments. Making sure to take your time at each clients home and ensure pet is receiving the proper care, attention and services. Must be comfortable driving and have own transportation. Salary is dependent on how well job requirements are met. This is far from an easy job,requires a lot of labor, responsibility, good time management, trust and liability.

Experience:

• Previous experience working with animals, particularly dogs, is preferred
• Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
• Familiarity with different breeds and their specific needs
• Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments
• Experience in pet sitting, veterinary care, dog training, or pet grooming is a plus
• Comfortable with heavy lifting (e.

g., carrying large bags of dog food) Experience is ideal, but willing to train.

Responsibilities:

• Provide pet care during all times of day including overnight care in clients home.
• Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks
• Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their pet’s care and behavior
• Monitor Pet’s for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the owner
• Clean up after pet’s during walks and dispose of waste properly
• Medicate pets
• Basic cleaning in clients home ( sweeping, mopping, washing bowls, pet laundry).
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with clients and their pets
