Kennel Technician Peace Love and Paws 1221 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207 Kennel Technician – Part-Time Afternoons & Weekends Peace Love & Paws – Nashville, TN Peace Love & Paws is a busy doggie daycare and boarding facility with a laid-back vibe and a whole lot of four-legged chaos. We’re currently hiring kennel techs for afternoon shifts and weekends, and we’re not just looking for dog lovers. We need people who are confident and experienced with big dogs, especially in group play settings. What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising large dog playgroups (think herding breeds, pitties, doodle giants, and the occasional unbothered Great Dane)
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and play yards
- Feeding, watering, and caring for pups of all sizes, but mostly managing big dog energy
- Monitoring dog behavior and stepping in when things get a little too rowdy
- General daily operations Who we’re looking for:
- Someone reliable who shows up and puts in the work
- Super comfortable around big dogs, _ this is a must _
- Confident in managing dog behavior in group settings (not afraid to break up the occasional play scuffle)
- Hard-working, detail-oriented, and willing to get dirty No ego, no drama. Just good energy and a team player attitude
- Experience in a daycare/boarding facility is a big plus, but we’ll train the right person Shift availability:
- Weekday afternoons (around 12 or 1PM-7PM)
- Saturdays and Sundays (morning and/or afternoon shifts available)
