The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair cutting, styling, and grooming techniques, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for clients while delivering high-quality services that meet their individual needs. Duties Provide hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients, ensuring satisfaction with each appointment. Maintain knowledge of current trends in hair styling and grooming techniques. Utilize salon software such as

MINDBODY

for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Assist clients with additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application when necessary. Promote retail products effectively to enhance client experience and drive sales. Manage front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and handling payments. Apply knowledge of color theory to offer coloring services that meet client preferences. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools to ensure a safe environment. Experience Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred. Familiarity with salon software systems, particularly MINDBODY, is advantageous. Experience in retail sales is a plus, demonstrating an ability to promote products effectively. Knowledge of hair styling techniques, color theory, and grooming standards is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for building rapport with clients and understanding their preferences.
