The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for all clients. Duties Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and hair threading. Utilize straight razors and other tools to achieve desired styles while ensuring client safety. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations. Provide nail care services as needed, enhancing the overall grooming experience for clients. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalized recommendations. Upsell products and services to enhance client satisfaction and promote retail sales. Assist in maintaining inventory levels of products used for services, applying retail math as necessary. Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyles, techniques, and products to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications Proven experience in barbering with a valid barber license or cosmetology license preferred. Proficiency in various barbering techniques including hair extensions and nail care is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of retail sales strategies and experience in upselling products is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, following sanitation protocols. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
