The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for clients. Duties Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and grooming. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to provide the best service possible. Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients and managing appointments as needed. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory for potential color services. Provide additional services such as hair extensions or eyelash extensions if qualified. Experience Proven experience in barbering or cosmetology is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales is advantageous. Experience using salon software for scheduling and client management is a plus. Knowledge of hair extensions and eyelash extensions is desirable but not required. A valid barbering license or cosmetology license is required. Spanish Speaking required.
