Hair Stylist Hair Salon Rincon de paz 2095 E Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34744 Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various hair services, including cutting, coloring, and styling, along with exceptional customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair care services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs. Utilize techniques such as hair extensions, hair threading, and straight razor cuts. Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations. Use salon software (preferably
MINDBODY
) to manage appointments and client records efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client requests and offering professional advice. Assist with retail sales by promoting products that enhance the client’s experience and results. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new staff members. Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and makeup application to provide clients with informed recommendations. Experience Valid cosmetology or barbering license is required. Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Familiarity with salon software systems; experience with
MINDBODY
is a plus. Knowledge of retail math to assist in product sales effectively. Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members. Experience in nail care and eyelash extensions is an advantage but not mandatory. A passion for mentoring others and contributing positively to the salon environment.
