Duties Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services using various techniques including straight razor shaving. Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive grooming experience for clients. Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences, offering expert advice on styles and products. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue. Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, color theory, and grooming techniques to provide clients with the best service possible. Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and outstanding customer service. Qualifications Valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations. Proficiency in various barbering techniques including haircuts, shaves, nail care, and eyelash extensions is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Experience with retail math to assist in managing product sales effectively.
