The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality food products by blending ingredients according to specified recipes and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Responsibilities Operate blending equipment to mix ingredients accurately based on production specifications. Ensure all food preparation tasks are completed in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the blending area, including regular sanitization of equipment and tools. Assist in the fabrication of food items as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production schedules are achieved. Perform basic math calculations for ingredient measurements and adjustments. Adhere to all food safety regulations and practices throughout the blending process. Participate in training sessions related to food processing techniques and equipment operation. Experience Previous experience in food processing, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred. Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate measurement and recipe adjustments are required. A passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn new techniques will be highly regarded.
