Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am currently in Jamaica and unable to return to the U.S. until further notice. However, our shop has a steady flow of loyal clients who continue to support us, and we want to keep them happy while also bringing in new customers. We have a strong four-man team and are looking for one more Barber who is committed for the long run. This is an opportunity to work under little to no supervision—giving you the floor to shine. However, this is not a position where you can rely solely on the shop’s existing clientele. We need someone who is proactive in building their own book of business and helping the shop grow.

The ideal candidate must be:

• You should be self-driven and able to bring in new business. ✔ Great at marketing
• Whether it’s social media, face-to-face networking, or creative promotions, you should know how to attract and retain customers. ✔ Creative and growth-oriented
• We need someone who is eager to contribute ideas and strategies to help the shop thrive. ✔ Experienced with African American hair
• While not mandatory, this is a big plus.

Duties Perform haircuts, trims, and shaves using various techniques and tools. Provide personalized styling services tailored to each client’s preferences. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace. Market yourself and the shop to attract and retain customers. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer recommendations. Assist with managing appointments and ensuring smooth shop operations. Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in barbering and current hair trends. Strong communication and customer service skills. Experience with marketing (social media, networking, promotions). Ability to work independently and contribute to shop growth. Prior salon or barbershop experience preferred. Experience with African American hair is a plus. Booth Rental Available Chair rental $200 weekly With your own clientele, you can expect to earn approximately $1,500 per week. If you start with no clients and rely solely on our walk-ins, you can anticipate earning around $500 per week. Commission Pay Available 60%/40% commission with own tools. Your earnings are directly tied to your customer base—the more you earn, the higher your take-home percentage.
