Master Colorist Educator Coach Faith in Curls Salon Deltona, FL 32725 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Color Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Color Theory, able to teach and mentor new stylists/students.
Color lines used:
Wella Color, Shades EQ, Pravana. Must have the ability to effectively teach and inspire others in the beauty industry. This role involves supporting, critiquing, correcting, inspiring and coaching stylists to become better skilled in their hair coloring skills. Must have ability to engage in educational content, demonstrating techniques, and providing hands-on training to students or staff in various aspects of hair coloring, and proper color/chemical procedures. Responsibilities Collaborate, develop and deliver comprehensive color training programs on hair styling, nail care, and cosmetology techniques. Utilize salon software to manage model schedules, student progress, and educational resources. Conduct practical demonstrations of skills such as color theory and placement. Applications. Provide guidance on client hair color care recommendations. Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages questions and promotes skill development. Stay updated with the latest trends in the beauty industry to provide relevant education. Qualifications Proven experience in cosmetology with a strong understanding of hair styling techniques. Experience with coloring textured hair. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners. A valid cosmetology license is required.
