Responsibilities Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling according to client preferences. Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts and styles. Perform hair threading services as requested by clients. Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided. Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients. Demonstrate proficiency in handling hair extensions, ensuring quality application and maintenance. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively. Proficient in straight razor techniques and various hair styling methods. Knowledge of hair threading practices is preferred. Experience in retail sales, with an understanding of retail math to assist clients effectively. Familiarity with color theory to provide expert advice on color choices. Ability to perform front desk tasks efficiently while multitasking in a busy salon environment. Competence in applying hair extensions with attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations.
