Hairstylist/Cosmetologist Salon Vibe 5370 Highway 92, Fairburn, GA 30213 Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cosmetology and hair styling, with the ability to create stunning looks that enhance our clients’ natural beauty. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere. Duties Provide exceptional hair styling services, including cuts, coloring, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. Perform hair threading and nail care services as required. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on hair care products and services. Assist with front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments using
MINDBODY
software. Foster a welcoming environment for clients by delivering outstanding customer service. Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and techniques to enhance their skills. Contribute to store management tasks as needed, ensuring smooth operations within the salon. Experience Valid cosmetology license is required. Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Familiarity with hair threading techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in customer service or retail environments is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Knowledge of retail math is an asset for managing product sales effectively. Experience using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is advantageous.
