Responsibilities:

• Provide barbering services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims
• Perform hair styling and grooming services, such as shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying
• Offer advice and suggestions to clients on suitable hairstyles and grooming techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment
• Upsell retail products to clients, such as hair care products and grooming accessories
• Apply makeup for clients upon request
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided
• Manage inventory and stock levels of barbering supplies and retail products
• Stay updated on current trends and techniques in the barbering industry

Experience:

• approximately 2 years of experience as a barber or hairstylist
• Proficient in using barbering tools and equipment, including clippers, scissors, razors, and trimmers
• Knowledgeable in various hair cutting techniques, including fades, tapers, and layering
• Familiarity with straight razor shaving techniques
• Experience working with hair extensions is a plus
• Ability to provide mentoring and guidance to junior barbers or hairstylists
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
