Position Summary:

Alexander Academy is seeking a Part or Full-Time Barber Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of barbering techniques, and a desire to inspire the next generation of barbers.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach and demonstrate barbering techniques, including cutting, styling, shaving, and grooming, in accordance with state guidelines and Alexander Academy’s curriculum. Provide individualized support and mentorship to students, helping them develop technical skills and professional confidence. Prepare lesson plans and practical demonstrations to meet educational objectives. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and evaluations. Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and safety protocols. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to provide relevant instruction. Promote a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and creativity.

Qualification:

Minimum of 2 years of professional barbering experience. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. A passion for teaching and helping students succeed in their careers. Availability to work Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
