The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and cosmetology, with the ability to provide exceptional grooming services to our clients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the salon. Duties Provide a variety of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and styling. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations. Engage in upselling additional services such as hair treatments, beard grooming, or products to enhance client experience. Assist with store management tasks including inventory control and maintaining supplies. Perform hair threading as needed for clients seeking precise styling options. Offer makeup application services for special occasions or events. Provide nail care services as part of a comprehensive grooming experience. Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and processing payments. Experience Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred. Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited institution is required. Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment management is advantageous. Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations within the beauty industry. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in upselling services or products is a plus. Ability to perform hair threading, makeup application, and nail care is desirable but not mandatory.
