Barber Andrews Barber Lounge and Salon 136 East Vance Street, Zebulon, NC 27597 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional grooming services to our clients while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Your expertise in barbering techniques, customer service, and retail sales will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Responsibilities Perform a variety of barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims tailored to clients’ preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience and promote retail sales. Stay updated on current trends in barbering techniques, color theory, and grooming styles to offer informed recommendations. Assist in mentoring junior staff members or interns by sharing knowledge and skills related to barbering and customer service. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client flow and minimize wait times. Qualifications Proven experience in barbering with a valid barber license or cosmetology certification. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of color theory and techniques for hair coloring services is a plus. Experience in retail sales and upselling products or services is preferred. Familiarity with nail care or makeup application can be advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
