This is a part-time, on-site only freelance role — perfect for artists who love creating stunning bridal and event looks and want to be part of a supportive, professional beauty team. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of makeup application techniques, color theory, and customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist and/or Makeup Artist, you will be responsible for enhancing the beauty of our clients, while also providing exceptional service to ensure a memorable experience. Responsibilities Provide professional makeup application and hair services for various occasions including Weddings, events, photoshoots, and special occasions. Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations based on their skin type and desired look. Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques to provide clients with contemporary styles. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the makeup station and tools to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided. Mentor junior staff or interns in makeup techniques and customer service best practices as needed. Collaborate with other beauty professionals to create cohesive looks for clients. A professional kit and reliable transportation A positive, team-oriented attitude Weekend availability (especially Saturdays) Skills Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in makeup artistry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Experience with hair extensions, hair threading, and basic hairstyling techniques is a plus. Background in cosmetology or makeup/esthetics is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in retail sales techniques to effectively promote services to clients.
