Salon Assistant J&F Gemelli Salon Cary, NC 27518 Job Overview J&F Gemelli is a busy, high end salon in Cary seeking a professional, friendly and outgoing individual to fill a highly coveted Apprentice position. The Apprenticeship is a temporary position that is intended to prepare talent for a stylist position. They support and are mentored by our Owner-Stylists with a focus on aptitude and a willingness to learn additional technical skills. This position requires a passion for the beauty Industry! Principal Duties & Responsibilities Deliver exceptional guest service Color Retouch Applications Assist with Foils (folding/handing foils) Shampoo & Treatment process Assist with blowouts and styling. Cleaning/Sanitation & Organizing duties Ensure guest comfort during appointments and communicate any supply needs to ensure guest readiness at all times Attend mandatory education/training & meetings to enable continuous professional development Execute other operational duties as directed Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices is preferred. Ability to sanitize tools and maintain hygiene standards within the salon environment.
