As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ appearances while ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience at our salon. Responsibilities Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences. Utilize various hair styling techniques and tools to achieve desired looks. Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer professional advice on styles and products. Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care as appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment. Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication. Mentor junior staff members by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care and styling. Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in the barbering industry. Experience Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the cosmetology field is preferred. Strong knowledge of hair cutting techniques, styling products, and tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in retail sales is advantageous for upselling products and services. Familiarity with additional services such as nail care, hair extensions, and eyelash extensions is a plus.
