Salon Assistant Motley Hair Studio 344 US Highway 9, Lanoka Harbor, NJ 08734 Motley Hair Studio is looking for a motivated, humble and hardworking assistant to join our team. As a salon assistant you will play an integral role in creating a seamless experience for our clients and smooth workflow for our staff. Anticipating needs, communicating, being observant and thorough in all your actions will make you an asset to our team. An ideal candidate will be self-starting and not require micromanaging once trained. NJ State Cosmetology License or Permit is

REQUIRED.

The hours are every weekend Saturdays 9am-4pm and Sundays 10am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring cleanliness throughout the salon.
• Greeting, draping and shampooing clients, applying treatments, toners and hair masks.
• Receptionist duties such as professionally greeting clients, answering the phones, scheduling appointments and checking clients out.
• Ensuring client comfort.
• Assisting stylists with varied work-related needs.
• Daily cleaning, washing bowls and laundry.
• Restocking color, retail, and client drinks and snacks.
• Additional responsibilities may apply depending on experience level such as mixing color or bleach, and blow drying.
